Frequently Asked Questions
-
Somatic therapy is a body-based, trauma-informed approach to healing that recognizes how stress and trauma are stored in the nervous system. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or emotions, it helps you notice physical sensations, breath, and movement to support regulation and release stored tension. Sessions move at your pace, emphasize choice and consent, and prioritize safety, helping your nervous system build resilience without re-traumatization.
-
Compassionate Inquiry is a trauma-informed psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that gently explores the unconscious beliefs, emotional patterns, and coping strategies formed in response to early life experiences. Through a compassionate, attuned process, we uncover the root causes of distress rather than just managing symptoms. By supporting nervous system regulation, it helps you reconnect with your authentic self.

Working online is simple and convenient — there’s no need to commute, and you can participate from a place where you feel safe and comfortable. Many people find it easier to relax and feel less observed, which can make it surprisingly effective for building trust and attunement.
In my experience, creating a safe and connected space can be just as deep online as in person. Plus, online sessions allow us to work together no matter where you are in the world. Some people feel unsure at first, but it’s worth giving it a try.

Anyone who is seeking support, healing, or deeper self-understanding can benefit from our work together.
My approach is trauma-informed and human-centered. I work with people facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, addiction, ADHD, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, perinatal challenges, and any kind of trauma.
Each session is tailored to your needs, at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
It’s important to note that I am not a licensed psychologist or psychotherapist. I have a strong sense of the limits of my competence and will always prioritise your safety, referring you to other qualified professionals if a situation falls outside my scope.
-
I combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and honesty.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, where therapist and client meet as equals. We work together with curiosity and respect, each bringing valuable insight to the process.

Working with me is a co-creation, grounded in honesty and mutual respect. I offer a steady and reliable presence, along with thoughtful reflections delivered with care and clarity. Many clients describe the process as feeling both gentle and real: a space where empathy and directness can exist side by side.
I bring experience, openness to feedback, and a deep respect for your lived experience. Rather than taking a rigid or overly clinical stance, I meet you as a human being. My intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to soften, and empowered enough to grow.
